B.STRONG Training Programme published [Posted: 10.02.20 10 - 17:05 at 'VCS Matters'] B.STRONG (Birmingham Skills Training Reaching Organisations and Neighbourhood Groups) has published its Training Programme for Voluntary and Community Organisations (February – June 2010). B.STRONG training is designed to build knowledge and skills for 3rd sector voluntary and community organisations. The courses are free of charge and open to members, staff and volunteers of groups representing excluded communities, particularly Black and Minority Ethnic (BME), Migrant, Refugee and New Communities led groups.

Are you interested in free Child Protection Training? [Posted: 08.02.2010 - 00:00 at 'VCS Matters'] VCS Matters have been approached by Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board to establish voluntary sector demand for Level 1 Child Protection training (see pages 27 – 28 of the Safeguarding Board Training Brochure for guidance on course content - also attached below) with a view to funding a number of one day training events.
